The station was officially inaugurated on 29 August 2026, marking an important milestone in the institution’s commitment to education, communication, community engagement, awareness, and entertainment.

Grand Inauguration of Navodaya 88.4 FM
The inauguration ceremony of Navodaya 88.4 FM was held on 29 August 2026 at Raichur.
The programme was graced by Hon’ble Raichur Member of Parliament Shri G. Kumar Naik and Raichur Member of the Legislative Council Shri N. S. Boseraju, who attended the ceremony as the Chief Guests.
The distinguished guests formally inaugurated the radio station by cutting the ribbon and conveyed their best wishes for the successful functioning and future growth of Navodaya 88.4 FM.
The programme was presided over by Shri S. R. Reddy, Chairman, Navodaya Education Trust.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Dr. Amruth Reddy, Director of the Operations ; Dr. T. Srinivas, Registrar; Dr. Vijayakumar, Director; directors of various departments; principals; and radio enthusiasts.
The presence of distinguished guests, institutional leaders, faculty members, and radio enthusiasts added significance to the occasion and reflected the growing importance of community radio as a medium for connecting institutions and communities.
