Pharmacology is the study of how drugs interact with living organisms to produce a change in function. It encompasses drug composition and properties, interactions, toxicology, therapy, and medical applications.
It deals with how drugs interact within biological system that affects their function. Pharmacology is a medical science concerned with the safe and effective use of medicines.
Our central Animal house consists of enough experimental animals to promote research activities which include Albino rats, Albino mice, Albino rabbits, Guinea pigs etc. for conducting practical and research/dissertation work of Faculty/PG Students.
Central animal house was approved by Centre for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiment on Animals (CPCSEA) Chennai, Ministry of Environment & Forests, and Government of India.
