Annual MBBS intake of students is 150 and the program is recognized by the Medical Council of India since 2007. The college is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences which is the Health University for the state of Karnataka.
A pass in 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-Technology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study, with at least 50% marks in aggregate of optional subjects.
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
Admission under General Merit category.
The admission under the General merit category will be on the basis of inter-se merit ranking in NEET UG. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will allot seats through the process of centralized counseling. The candidates can refer www.kea.kar.nic.in for further information.
Admission under NRI quota.
The admission under NRI category is also based on NEET UG ranking. Foreign nationals are also considered for admission under this quota, once they qualify in NEET UG examinations followed by online registration and document verification by KEA, Bangalore.
