India Post Office Inaugurated at Navodaya Education Trust
A new branch of the Department of Posts, Government of India, was inaugurated at the prestigious Navodaya Education Trust, Raichur.
The new post office was inaugurated by Dr. S. Amruth Reddy, Director of Navodaya Education Trust, by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
On the occasion, Dr. S. R. Reddy, Chairman of Navodaya Education Trust, congratulated the officials of the Department of Posts and assured them of the institution’s full support for the development of the district.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Shivanand R. H., Superintendent of Posts, Raichur Division, stated that India Post has been serving the public for more than one and a half centuries. He expressed his happiness over the opening of the new post office at Navodaya Education Trust and highlighted the various schemes and services offered by the Department of Posts, encouraging the public to make the best use of them.
He further explained that, in addition to fast and efficient postal services, the department also provides banking services. He added that the cooperation between the public and private sectors in delivering these services is highly commendable.
Mr. G. Manjunath, Assistant Superintendent of Posts, said that the new post office, established with the approval of the Government of India, is fully equipped to serve the thousands of students and staff members of Navodaya Education Trust. He assured everyone that the office is committed to providing prompt and high-quality services.
The event was also addressed by Dr. Suresh Babu, Administrative Director of Navodaya Education Trust, and Mrs. Dolly, Senior Manager of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB).
Among those present on the occasion were Dr. P. Vijayakumar, Director of Navodaya Education Trust; Dr. Gurudatta Pawar, Dean of the Medical College; the heads of the Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Dental, and Agriculture Colleges; and officials and staff members of the Department of Posts.
